Abstract

This is the final report of the SHIPINSPECTOR funded under the European Union (EU)-funded framework programme (FP) seven. The main aim of the SHIPINSPECTOR project was to apply long range ultrasonic testing (LRUT) methods to develop a monitoring system in order to detect defects in ship hull structures.

The report coherently describes in detail the main goals of the project; the work performed within it; and the results achieved. Furthermore, the report describes the dissemination of the results and the potential impact and use of the gained knowledge and expertise.
