Abstract

This is the final report of the ANTIOXI project, which had received funding under the European Commission (EC)'s Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The main goal for the ANTIOXI project was to put together current knowledge of the nuclear power plant chemistries, activity build-up and material behaviour and combine its extensive theoretical modelling in those environments in a single entity to develop safer and more user-friendly tools for maintaining the power plants. The ANTIOXI project was planned to encompass an integration of different theoretical approaches together with relevant experimental results and power plant data into one interdisciplinary description and model framework for the most important oxide films in commercial nuclear power plants. The approach of the project was to take advantage of recently performed studies and available data, especially in-plant data, in order to use all available information in the development of a new quantitative oxide model.
