Abstract

Publishable final technical report on Contract No JOF3-CT-97-0034.

During crude oils or natural gases exploitation, wells productivity is directly related to the viscosity of the reservoir fluid. If the reservoir fluid recovery is enhanced by the implementation of gas injection, the efficiency of such a process highly depends on both the mobilities of the injected gas and the in-place fluid, such mobilities being directly related to their viscosities.

This project aimed to develop reliable and accurate models for predicting both densities and viscosities of HP-HT rich condensate gases, these models being necessarily built on a consistent database.
