FISIC - A full-wave code to model ion cyclotron resonance heating of tokamak plasmas
The FISIC code solves Maxwell equations for a tokamak plasma in the ion cyclotron frequency domain. The present version assumes circular concentric magnetic flux surfaces. A generalisation to arbitrary MHD equilibrium configurations is under way. The report is intended as a "user manual" for the code which solves the integrodifferential wave equation in a finite Larmor radius approximation in fully toroidal geometry to simulate ICRF heating experiments. The code models the electromagnetic wave field as well as antenna coupling and power deposition profiles in axisymmetric plasmas.
