The constant vaporizing composition of UO(2) at 2150 K was calculated, and its possible variation with the enthalpy of formation of UO(3)(g) and UO(g) studied. Very large negative values of the enthalpy of formation of UO(3)(g) are needed to move the constant vaporizing composition below UO(2.0).
