Theory of hybridization : broadened magnetic response in uranium systems
Previously a theory for calculating the dynamic susceptibility of cerium systems was developed, and a strong renormalization and a broadening of the excitation behaviour was obtained. The theory is extended here to the more strongly hybridizing uranium systems. Broad continuum magnetic excitation responses obtained for UP and UAS are in good agreement with experiment.
