Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds (PACs) are widely distributed in the environment as a result of spillage or incomplete combustion of fossil fuels, and from car exhausts and tobacco smoke. Many PACs are biologically active and several are carcinogenic. This second volume provides details of molecular spectra, physico-chemical properties, crystallography, occurrence and biological activity for a further 45 PACs.
