Abstract

The characteristics of an in-laboratory spectrometer for Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure analysis are described. The instrument uses the Bremsstrahlung produced by a rotating anode X-ray generator and Johansson-type ground and bent crystal monochromators in the Rowland circle geometry allowing optimal energy resolution with high intensity. Different anode materials and crystal monochromators are available for studies in a large energy range with proper resolution.
