Three papers on laser interaction with matter from the 19th ECLIM, European conference are presented here. The first paper is an extended version of the third, which describes the implosion of non-uniformly irradiated spherical shells, using a two-temperature version of the fluid code DUED. The targets considered are two thin shells filled with D-T gas in the period prior to collision between the reflected shockwave and the imploding target. Of particular interest are the deformation of the shell as a function of the wavelength and amplitude of the irradiation non-uniformity, the reflection of the imploding shock-wave and the collapse of the first shockwave. The second paper describes the parallel implementation of the code DUED on the IBM 3090-400 VF vector multiprocessor. An attempt to transform the purely Lagrangian scheme of DUED into an arbitrary Lagrangian - Eulerian scheme is discussed.
