CONSTITUTIVE EQUATIONS OF STEELS IN DYNAMICS AS A FUNCTION OF TEMPERATURE AND STRAIN RATE. TECHNIQUES AND RESULTS
The constitutive equation of AISI 316 based on Perzyna model has been calibrated at various temperatures (R.T. 400 and 550 degrees C), using experimental results obtained by a modified Hopkinson bar and a hydropneumatic machine at strain rates ranging between 10- 2- and 10**3 S**-1. Advances in strain measurements by dynamic laser interferometry are presented, together with experiments on biaxial test pieces.
