Abstract

The spontaneous fission neutron emission rate is derived from published measurement data obtained with the High Level Neutron Coincidence Counter (HLNCC). The measurements covered a PuO-2 mass of 0.5 till 3 kg. A detailed description is given of the data elaboration required for two different models giving the spontaneous fission neutron emission rate either absolutely or relative to a standard.
