TIME DEPENDENCE AT 550 AND 700 DEGREES C OF M-23C-6 PRECIPITATE COMPOSITION IN AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL
The time dependence at 550 and 700 degrees C of M-23C-6 precipitate composition in AISI 304 stainless steel has been investigated using the X-ray fluorescence induced by electron bombardment. By increasing the ageing time, M-23C-6 precipitates become enriched in Cr and depleted in Fe.
