Abstract

Numerical algorithms for the computation of compact torus equilibria with a high energy ion ring, rotating in the toroidal direction are presented and compared. The algorithms all solve a modified Grad Shafranov equation iteratively. A toroidal magnetic field is not necessary but is allowed and examples of both types of equilibrium will be given.
