EXTRAGALACTIC SYSTEMS - SOME SURPRISING PROPERTIES OF COUPLES OF APPARENT QUASAR GALAXIES
An exhaustive study of QSO galaxy associations in a given sky region (Arp) shows an anomalous distribution: the histogram of the associations as a function of their "probability" p has a strong maximum for p +- 10**-2, very different from what is expected from an uncorrelated distribution.
