Abstract

The work carried out in the present project concerned: - the verification of the efficiency of the design methodology by its practical application on the design of a few low energy houses and the building of these houses; - an experimental study, which will check the first evaluations given by the application of the design methodology; - the development of the lacunas so discovered in the design methodology; - the achievement of a conversational computerized version of the design methodology; - in the monitoring of the houses, the analysis of the internal partitioning and of the usuable fraction of the building thermal inertia.. The final product of this research project will contain a revised version of the manual design guide and its computerized version; the energy savings actually obtained will be described, with a complete analysis of the resulting global economical cost; the perspectives of energy savings in the low cost houses sector will be assumed.
