RAYIC - A NUMERICAL CODE FOR THE STUDY OF ION CYCLOTRON HEATING OF LARGE TOKAMAK PLASMAS
The code RAYIC models coupling, propagation and absorption of e.m. waves in large axisymmetric plasmas in the ion cyclotron frequency domain. It can be used both to investigate the waves behaviour, and as a source of the power deposition profiles for use in transport codes. The present user manual, after a brief summary of the physical model, presents the structure of RAYIC, the complete list of input - output variables (calling sequence), and some examples of the output which can be obtained from the code.
