AN ALGORITHM FOR THE CONTROLLED DECOMPOSITION FOR DYNAMIC MULTIREGIONAL LINEAR MODELS
The codes LIFT and DECOMPSX respectively exploit the multiperiod and multiregional structure of the constraint matrix of an energy flow model. The multiregional multiperiod EFOM-12C model exhibits both structures which cannot be simultaneously exploited using the current software. In this paper we propose an extension of the nested decomposition algorithm which allows one to take more fully advantage of the properties of the constraint matrix of multiregional multiperiodic models.
