Abstract

The authors report on the magnetic field dependence of resonant modes in Nb based interferometers with two Josephson junctions. The junction area is defined by opening two windows in an SiO insulating layer. Both behaviors have been observed depending on the adimensional damping parameter GAMMA = I-oR/V (I-o is the maximum Josephson current of each junction, R is the quasi-particle resistance and V-r is the resonance voltage). The experimental data are compared with the magnetic field dependence numerically computed by using the theory reported in literature.
