CRITICAL HEAT FLUX IN FORCED CONVECTION SODIUM BOILING FLOW
The aim of the present work is to discuss the recent results of dryout measurements carried out at J.R.C. Ispra in a 12-pin bundle test section. A comparison with the previous measurements carried out in Ispra in simple geometry (tube and annulus) and in other laboratories in simple and bundle geometry will be done. The validity of the equation q-cr = 0.216 m**0.8 (1.2 o-slashed-1) . L-v/L/d)**0RU.**8 developed from data in simple geometry and its application to bundle geometry will be discussed.
