NEW CANONICAL EQUATION OF STATE FOR SODIUM
A necessary requirement for the quantitative analysis or numerical simulation of thermohydraulic processes is the adequate formulation of the thermophysical properties (equation of state). A new formulation for the free energy (Helmholtz function) of Na has been developed. One single formulation, which uses only rational expressions and no transcendental functions, describes liquid, vapour and supercritical state; the results are numerically and thermodynamically consistent.
