THE HERMES MODEL FOR DENMARK
This report collects four papers on last years research activity concerning the Hermes model for Denmark. Part one reproduces the paper Preliminary estimations of production functions for Denmark (April 1983) presented at the meeting held in Brussels on May 5-6, 1983. After this meeting work on the production part of the model was continued and the results are reported in part two Further estimation results for the production block of Hermes for Denmark, (November 1983). Part three contains estimation results for the price and wage relations, and finally experiments with different investment relations are reported in part four. The present status for the Danish model is that estimation results have been presented for private household consumption, the production block, investments, price and wage relations and the interfuel substitution model. Further work before the first simulation experiments with the model are obtainable includes estimation of import and export relations, formulation of identities and implementation of a simulation software. In addition a disaggregated treatment of the energy branch remains to be implemented and an updating of the database is desirable.
