CODE OF GOOD PRACTICE FOR THE REDUCTION OF EMISSIONS OF CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS (CFCS) R-11 AND R-12 IN REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING APPLICATIONS
This Code of Good Practice has as its main purpose the reduction of emission into the atmosphere of chlorofluorocarbons R11 and R12 used in refrigeration and air conditioning applications. To this end it does not constitute a technical design document and must be used in conjunction with other standards and Codes of Practice already in existence. The establishment of this Code is part of the Action programme that the Commission of the European Communities has undertaken aiming at the reduction of emissions of chlorofluorocarbons used in the fields of refrigeration, foam plastics and solvents. It is the intention of the Commission that this code be adopted in agreement with the relevant Trade Associations and implemented by the industry in general.
