Abstract

The report describes the work for certification of cortisol in two lyophilized serum materials. Homogeneity and stability tests were carried out and results are presented in the report. The amount of cortisol in a sample and the cortisol concentration in the reconstituted serum are certified. The analytical method used for certification was isotope dilution mass spectrometry. The report also presents results obtained by high performance liquid chromatography and radioimmunoassay.
