Abstract

Experimental results on neutron flux attenuators indicate that the dynamic range for collimated fusion neutron measurements can be extended by a factor of 100. Two different applications for large fusion experiments are outlined, and potential use of the technique for measurements of 14 MeV neutrons in high fluxes of 2.5 MeV neutrons is described.
