Abstract

The assessment of the residual lifetime of a structure subject to fatique damage is pursued by the development and validation of two models. They are based on the randomization of the Paris law (COVASTOL code) and on the representation of damage process as a stochastic Markovian process (RELIEF code), respectively. The comparison of the results obtained by the two methods for a test case is presented.
