VADEMECUM OF CONTRACT RESEARCH
The Vademecum is in two parts. The first, general, part acquaints us with the origins of the Communitie's research and technology policy (in its European context; and also gives administrative details of the framework programme for Community research, development and demonstration activities 1984 to 1987), with Community research policy and international cooperation, with dissemination of research results plus general information. The second part contains a list of all research and development programmes and actions still in progress at the date of publication of the Vademecum (also programmes submitted to the Council for approval). The detailed programme description contains only those actions for which potential contractors may still participate in Community contract research by submitting research proposals. The fields covered by the programme are: Agriculture and Fisheries; Industry (Industrial technologies, information technologies, biotechnologies); transport; raw materials; energy (nuclear fission, fusion, non-nuclear energies); development aid; health and safety; environment; improving efficacy of scientific and technical potential; horizontal activities (FAST).
