Abstract

At the ESARDA Conference in Venice, May 1984, the EURATOM inspection goals had been presented while reporting on the continuing dialogue with the IAEA relating to inspection goals and acceptance criteria. Since then the considerations at DCS were intensified, the dialogue with the IAEA continued and a number of comments and stimulating suggestions were received. This paper extends the EURATOM inspection goals to types of installations not previously covered and discusses, based on examples, some practical implementation questions.
