PARTICLE AND ENERGY CONFINEMENT IN OHMICALLY HEATED JET PLASMAS
The particle and energy transport in ohmically heated JET discharges has been analyzed. The energy confinement time tau-E is found to increase with both plasma density, n, and safety factor q, with tau-E values in the range 0.1 to 0.6s. At low density, the particle confinement time, tau, increases with density, while for n-e**>about 1.3 x 10**19m**-3 it decreases with density: the peak value is about 1s.
