Résumé

Layers of chromium produced by thermal vapour deposition in a well defined crystalline morphology (crystals of polyhedral aspect of an 111 preferred orientation) allow a high quality spectral selective surface to be obtained (alpha approximately equal to 0.95; epsilON approximately equal to 0.15). The high stability and reliability of the thermooptical properties is essentially determined by the physicochemical characteristics of the chromium layer. The deposition shows a good adherence on different substrate materials and small modifications of the radiative properties are observed. The durability at high temperature (up to 400 degrees C) permits an expected life time of at least 15 years.
