A COMPARISON OF IMAGING TECHNIQUES FOR THE STUDY OF PLASMA DENSITY FLUCTUATIONS
Imaging techniques offer attractive alternatives to small-angle Thomson scattering in the plasma wavelength range where diffraction occurs in the Raman-Nath regime (LAMBDA > about 3 mm for a CO-2 laser). The aim of this contribution is to compare various possible techniques on hand of their transfer properties.
