LARMOR RADIUS EXPANSION FOR THE INHOMOGENEOUS PLASMA DIELECTRIC TENSOR
A Larmor radius expansion for the dielectric tensor of an inhomogeneous plasma with perpendicular gradients is derived directly from the relativistic Vlasov equation. Various wave equations are derived for relevant Radio Frequency heating problems together with a generalized Poynting theorem. The validity of Kadomtev's assumption is discussed.
