Abstract

The behaviour of the two conductors array is analyzed in terms of two independent quasi-TEM modes, even and odd. Their relative strengths determine much of the array performances. Although the array is rather demanding (/V-A/ = /V-B/ approximately equal to 30 kV in phase opposition) it is hopefully not out of range. The major troubles could come from the feeding system. Unfortunately we are not yet able to give definitive answers at the time of the conference, but our preliminary study gives indications that the single line feeding system seems favoured with respect to the two lines system.
