EVIDENCE OF PUMP SPECTRAL BROADENING AND PARAMETRIC DECAY INSTABILITIES IN THE RF HEATING EXPERIMENT IN FT
The spectral broadening of the radiation collected by a probe inside the torus, and of the power reflected into the waveguide were observed during lower hybrid heating experiments on FT (Frascati Tokamak), together with the occurrence of parametric decay instabilities. Correlation with the plasma density is found. The results are compared with a theoretical model.
