Abstract

We have developed a model which fits accurately today's experimental results obtained by LH current drive experiments. With this model we explain the results observed on the electron heating during the HF current generation. A simulation of the time history of the main plasma parameters obtained on PETULA-B indicates than the electron energy confinement time can increase during L.H. current drive experiments.
