DISRUPTIONS AND NON-THERMAL ELECTRON EFFECTS DURING LOWER HYBRID CURRENT DRIVE IN PETULA B
The total ECE signal behaviour and the observation of disruptions are analyzed as consequences of a HF controlled hot electron population build up. Under crude assumptions a threshold for disruptions in the case of Petula-B discharges, as experimentally observed, is deduced.
