Abstract

We have measured magnetization as a function of magnetic field (O < H < 100 kOe) and temperature (4.2 < T < 300 K) of encapsulated, oriented single crystals of PuAs, PuSb and PuBi. In all of these rocksalt-type pnictides we find a very strong anisotropy. The ordered moments are confined to the <100> axis.
