VALORIZATION OF GEOTHERMAL MEASUREMENTS AND INVESTIGATIONS CARRIED OUT ON VARIOUS MODELS EXISTING IN AQUITAINE FOR THE ELABORATION OF PREVISIONAL TOOLS APPLICABLE TO DIFFERENT GEOTHERMAL OPERATIONS
The thermal anomalies measured on different geological settings presented by a multilayered aquifer with a fault and a diapir structure can easily be explained by some models of thermal conduction. The effect of natural convection remains generally weak and uncertain. This is true for depths down to 1000 meters and for a normal heat flow as observed in sedimentary basins. Only for a very active hydrodynamism corresponding to hot springs with forced convection, significant heat flow anomalies near the surface can be observed. The phenomena show generally very complex conditions and remain very delicate for quantitative interpretation even with sophisticated models.
