Abstract

The present study concerns a comparative exercise, performed within the framework of the Commission of the European Communities, of the computer codes (AEROSIM-M, UK; AEROSOLS/B1 France; CORRAL-2 and NAUA Mod 5, Germany) used in order to assess the aerosol behaviour in the reactor containment building during severe core damage accidents in a PWR.
