Abstract

The present situation of facilities in Europe dedicated to the experimental determination of differential (with respect to primary neutron energy) neutron data is reviewed. Neutron sources with broad energy spectra, in particular accelerator based "white" sources and monoenergetic sources based on electrostatic generators are discussed. Ways to measure new types of requested neutron data, in particular neutron emission cross-sections and charged particle emission cross-sections for fusion applications are also described.
