  • ROCHES CHAUDES HAUTE TEMPERATURE. CONTRIBUTION A LA METHODOLOGIE DE LA DETERMINATION DES CARACTERISTIQUES HYDRAULIQUES DES MILIEUX ROCHEUX FRACTURES NATURELLEMENT OU ARTIFICIELLEMENT

Résumé

This report describes two methods for the determination of the hydraulic conductivity of fractures in a "hot dry rock" energy reservoir. The first method ("time based") requires continuous test injections into the borehole. The second method ("frequency based") uses repeated single injections. The report falls into 3 separate parts: - a description of the "time based" method, including tests carried out at Mayet de Montagne (Allier, France). These have shown that linear models hitherto used are not adequate to describe hydraulic behaviour of fractures above a certain pressure; - a theoretical comparison of the two methods; - a description of novel solutions for the "time based" method, mainly for the case of rectangular fractures (irrespective of their direction).
