The "ENERGIE 2000" study describes the consequences resulting for the energy market from a socio-economic reference scenario as well as possible changes of the reference in case the determinant variables should deviate from the evaluation on which the reference scenario is based. The study also examines the key questions concerning the energy market at the year 2000: rational energy utilisation, environment protection, energy prices, penetration of electrical energy and natural gas.
