Abstract

Measurements of plasma parameters in the divertor scrape-off, like temperature and density profiles and power flow onto the divertor plates, are presented for different main plasma conditions (OH phase, L phase, H- phase with bursts, H phase without bursts, LH current drive). Statements about fast electrons, deviations from a Maxwellian electron distribution function and the electric potential in the scrape-off plasma are made. Comparison between probe measurements, microwave interferometry, Thompson scattering and measurements of the power flow onto the divertor plates are discussed.
