Abstract

This report on methods of testing and classifying the fire resistance of structural components contains two parts. The first part, "A study of equipment for testing fire resistance in EEC laboratories", covers the following aspects: + a consideration of laboratory equipment, + ovens, + working conditions, + measuring equipment + loading and conditions at extreme values, + costs of testing, + applications of test results, + conclusions drawn from the reports. The second part is a collation of information not previously assembled together in a single publication.
