Abstract

This report on the international symposium on creativity held at Karlsruhe in November 1985 encompasses the entire spectrum of current research in creativeness. The interdisciplinary nature of the symposium was ensured, on the one hand, by the participation of renowned specialist representatives from the fields of neurobiology system technics and psychology; on the other hand the meeting of these specialists with practitioners whose claim to be "creative" is proved, constitutes a rare bridging success. It is suggested that future efforts to explain the phenomenon of "creativity", and better to understand its practical preconditions, be continued along these lines.
