ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS OF FUSION REACTORS, 1985
The aspects of the environmental impact as expected from future fusion reactors are reviewed. - The radioactive inventories consist of tritium and neutron-induced radioactivity in the structures. - An analysis is performed of the radioactive releases from the different plant's systems in normal and accident conditions and typical emissions to the ambient are defined. - Information is given on the waste management problems. - Two appendices give general information on tritium and safety guidelines.
