Abstract

An overview of ground based atmospheric measurement techniques, developed at JRC for marine and land applications of remote sensing, is given as well as some typical results. First tests of a novel spectroradiometer for automatic acquisition of experimental data are shown. Finally, a comparison of satellite data, corrected for atmospheric effects by means of ground based measurements and contemporary radiometric ground truth, is reported.
