Abstract

For the non destructive assay of Pu containing fuel, interpretation models are derived to obtain its spontaneous fission rate or its Pu mass equivalent. The factorial moments of the frequency distribution of neutron signal multiplets in signal and randomly triggered time intervals are used as measurement results.
