COMMENT ON THE STABILIZATION OF THE DRIFT RIPPLING MODE BY PARALLEL ELECTRON HEAT CONDUCTION
It is shown that parallel electron heat conduction cannot lead to a cross over of bounded drift rippling modes from stability to instability or vice-versa. The limit where the diamagnetic frequency is large compared with the FKR growth rate is considered.
