THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MEASURING PROBE FOR DRILLING CONSTRAINTS USING THE PRINCIPLE OF PHOTOELASTICITY
The measuring of drilling constraints by "core drilling$7R is based on the principle of the freeing of the constraints by "core drilling" around the portion of rock on which measurements are taken. The object of the present research is to invent and construct in the laboratory a drill model founded on this principle and using a method for measuring the deformations which rests on the principle of photoelasticity.
