Résumé

The present study aims to perfect a compressor system for a heat pump intended for heating systems, using electrical power of 30 kW and producing therefore about 100 thermal k.W. Intended for communal living quarters and service industries, such a system must be silent, free from vibrations, reliable and robust. After a year of fruitless research, the study led to the perfection and experimental testing of a single screw compressor without oil injection, using an asymmetrical economizing device, and capable of accelerated de-frosting through the use of a refrigerating liquid. The performance of the compressor, although already superior to that of classic piston machines, can be still further improved thanks to the results of a simulation, allowing the development of optimum criteria for adjustment at full output and partial load. The effect of the characteristics of the compressor on the functioning of the heat pump system is studied and applied to two different climates representative of the countries of the Community.
